Community Educational Research Group is a licensed, well-established childcare and preschool in Minnesota Ave. NE, Washington, DC with three facilities – Antioch, Minnesota Avenue, and Good Hope Road. We are nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). While caring for your child’s development and health, we serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack based on the dietary guidelines of the US Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). During fall, winter, and spring, we conduct thorough parent-teacher conferences for a deeper understanding of our children’s progress. As a Level II provider of childcare in Washington, D.C., childcare eligibility determination, as well as intake, is conducted on behalf of the office of the State Superintendent for Education.

We also organize family activity events and field trips for our valued students and their parents. We utilize the Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool. We also offer school-age programming and out of school time programming for our student’s educational benefit.

Community Educational Research Group serves the needs of young children who reside in Washington, DC, Wards 7 and 8. CERG provides high-quality early care & education in a culturally-diverse and nurturing environment. CERG employs developmentally appropriate practices and practitioners to facilitate social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth for all students.

Community Educational Research Group envisions early childhood education opportunities for all DC children, regardless of family income, and enriching out-of-school-time programming for all so that no child may fall behind in school.
